One of my absolute favorite pieces from back in the early 90s, when I was crafting these panels full time, was this very piece. After having done many recreations of historic nose art I wanted to create something unique, a tribute to the pin up artists of the day and to the entire concept of nose art as an art form 

I had found an old Bell Telephone advertisement  featuring this lovely lady featured in a wartime publication and fell in love with the simple beauty of the art.  Representing the U.S. Navy version of the B-25 known as the PBJ1D and painted in the intermediate Blue Background I created Bora Bora Baby.
